Swimbabes approached The Bigger Boat to address their existing ecommerce website and digital marketing activity.  The client had two objectives, to improve traffic and sales. After a strategic SEO review we highlighted a series of improvements that could be made to the clients website and digital strategy.

Once appointed our first priority was Swimbabes’ existing website visitors. Making an improvement to the site conversion rate would boost monthly sales and provide the client with a quicker return on investment. The Bigger Boat identified and made design improvements to navigation, key landing pages, product pages and the checkout process. Conversion rates have increased 30% during the 6 months we have worked on the website, representing a significant increase in monthly sales.

The next objective was to increase the number of visitors to the website. This was achieved through optimising Google Adwords and natural SEO.

We initially overhauled the clients existing Google Adwords account to reduce waste, improve adverts and optimise clicks. We continue to test and refine keywords through this channel, with successful phrases being brought into the natural SEO plan.

Improving natural SEO is arguably the most important objective in any SEO brief, it’s also the longest to realise a result and to show a return. As part of an ongoing process we continually work with Swimbabes to improve natural SEO, through on-site and off-site activity.
