Swimbabes have worked with The Bigger Boat for a number of years. Our initial work involved creating a responsive eCommerce website using Magento, from what was then a 5 year Zen Cart website.
As well as building a new website, we have also been working on driving traffic and sales via a digital marketing retainer. Our monthly digital marketing retainer involves the following activities:
- Conducting detailed keyword research to define category and sub-level pages on the site
- On-Page optimisation – ensuring the site is optimised for relevant search terms (identified in the keyword research)
- Set-up a google shopping campaign, which involves regular bid optimisation to ensure cost vs return is maximised
- Regular email campaigns to the database to keep the database engaged with the brand and ultimately increase sales and customer retention.
Since the new site went live in 2013 we’ve improved site traffic by 43%. More importantly, we also increased revenue by 59% & overall conversion rate has increases by 38%.
The Google shopping campaign, which is fully managed as part of Swimbabes’ retainer, has seen a 142% increase in revenue since the new site went live. ROAS increase was 47% which is a key measurement of the ROI success of the campaign.
Due to our SEO campaign, the conversation rate from organic search has increased by 37% - which indicates we have improved the quality of traffic to the site which in turn is driving more revenue. Revenue has seen a 34% increase since the new site went live.
Our regular email campaigns have driven a huge 1,615% increase in revenue, with a 501% increase in conversion rate.
