Heald is a specialist designer and manufacturer of hostile vehicle mitigation systems. For more than 25 years, Heald has been supplying some of the world’s most high-profile sites with innovative and aesthetic hostile vehicle protection products. The company wanted to position itself above the competition and use its website to generate real leads for the business.

The Objectives
The new website needed to demonstrate Heald’s expertise, the direction of the business and engage the target audience. Visually, the competition wasn’t great from a brand or website point of view, which was something we knew we could use to our advantage. Their target audience are architects, builders and consultants and end users who Heald would supply with product. The main objective was to engage with these markets so that a unique Heald product is specified right at the beginning of a project.

The Solution
We worked collaboratively with the client right from the very start of the project. Initial SEO and website structure are vital points in the process, to be outlined at the start of any web project. We factored in audience, data and the client’s suggestions in order to plan a coherent structure before beginning the project. Ensuring page design had clear direction and calls to action to improve the customer journey through the website was also a priority. The website was built in WordPress to enable Heald’s marketing team to easily manage content after the website project was complete. The outcome was a clear, easy-to-navigate website that presented a mix of both products and content for the user.
