We’re officially a Great Place To Work!

Our employees have spoken, and we’re officially recognised as a Great Place to Work! This certification is testament to the incredible culture we've cultivated at The Bigger Boat, encompassing leadership, management, work, relationships, and support.

Here, we explore what it means to be certified, and highlight some of the statements and comments we received from employees.

What does it mean to be a Great Place to Work?

Great Place To Work (GPTW) is the global authority on workplace culture. The certification means that our workplace culture, policies, and practices have been assessed against a rigorous standard, and we've not only met but exceeded the criteria for certification. The average of all statements from our team members was 85%, well above the certification threshold of 65% (percentages indicate the percentage of people who responded with “Almost always true” or “Often true”).

What's even more heartening is that an overwhelming 87% of respondents said, "Taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work." This sentiment reflects the dedication and effort we've put into creating a supportive, inclusive, and enjoyable workplace for all.

Our top-scoring areas

GPTW groups statements of a similar theme into ‘focus areas’, making it easy to see where companies are thriving, and where they may need more work. Let’s take a look at our top-scoring areas, what they indicate, and some statements made for each:
