Relaunching Mizaic with a headless website

Previously IMMJ Systems, Mizaic is a market-leading provider of electronic document management solutions (EDMS technology) for the NHS. Following its full rebrand, the company tasked TBB with the creation of its new website, in conjunction with Scriba PR.

Here, we outline how we helped relaunch Mizaic back into the market, highlighting the power of the company’s revolutionary digital transformations to potential clients.

Relaunching Mizaic back into the market

Once IMMJ’s rebrand (carried out by The Engine Room and managed by Scriba PR) was complete, our task was to relaunch Mizaic back into the market. The rebrand had to be mirrored in the company’s online presence, requiring a new website that would marry up. It was important that we highlighted Mizaic's thought leadership status in the industry, particularly the proven benefits of MediViewer - the company’s own software product known among the NHS - and the expertise of the company's employees/directors, who have extensive experience of working within the healthcare sector. Mizaic wanted its website to act as an up-to-date, straight-talking, multimedia information source - something that’s easy to update as the company continues to grow.

Ensuring a seamless experience
For its website overhaul, our recommendation for Mizaic was a headless content management system (CMS). With headless website benefits including increased security and speed, the absence of version and plugin updates (unlike many other traditional CMS platforms) and no painful ongoing maintenance, a headless website would help to minimise load-time (crucial to reducing bounce rates), increase site conversions, and satisfy the needs of Mizaic’s users. Designed to be a seamless experience across mobile and desktop, the site features an updated structure to reflect Mizaic’s growing client base (already the company has software in 20 different trusts).

Leveraging customer voices
To further enhance this cleaner CMS system, we used Algolia search to create an ‘Insights Hub’. This is similar to tagging, but Algolia makes things easier and tidier - housing all relevant content, including case studies, events, news, and resources.

Our new headless design uses content created by Scriba PR to deliver a deeper, storytelling approach, with videos and illustrations to better leverage the voice of customers themselves. Focusing more on the product - MediViewer - its benefits, and the rich expertise of the company’s colleagues, the modern multimedia website is visually engaging and responsive from a digital point of view, while supporting the user journey and Mizaic’s overall objectives.

Re-establishing an online presence
The ‘go live’ of this new website didn’t just represent a new visual digital identity for IMMJ - it was also the beginning of an entirely new name and online presence for the company. Migration is  critical for any new site launch, but even more so when a company changes its name and domain. Therefore, careful migration and 301 planning was required. We also created integrated forms on the site with the company’s chosen CRM platform - Microsoft Dynamics 365, in turn automating the flow of data from enquiry to CRM for Mizaic. This was all supported by Google PPC ads campaigns to help push the new brand and product terms into the market, ensuring a seamless transition.
