It’s official: TBB named marketing partner for ClimbUK

Big news from our team here at The Bigger Boat – we’ve been appointed as the official marketing partner for ClimbUK, the UK’s festival of business growth. We’re thrilled to partner with ClimbUK – a major event held in Leeds – bringing together some of the UK’s most ambitious companies, investors, and innovators. The next festival, Climb25, takes place on 2-3 July 2025 and is expected to welcome attendees from across the country.
What is ClimbUK?
ClimbUK was born out of a real need: northern founders struggling to find London investors, and London investors unable to reach regional ecosystems. What started as a simple lunch mixer quickly grew – now, ClimbUK brings together billions of pounds of active funds and thousands of ambitious founders and investors, all under one roof. And makes it fun.
This festival is the only event in the UK designed to connect businesses and investors at every stage, from startup to scale to exit. The energy is electric – people leave feeling on top of the world, armed not only with meaningful connections, opportunities, and insights, but also jobs, clients, and investments that genuinely change lives. Founders have attended ClimbUK having lost clients in the morning, then left the event with six-figure investments (true story).
Backed by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, the British Business Bank, and CRSI, ClimbUK is fast becoming a must-attend event for anyone serious about business growth.
What’s our role?
The Bigger Boat is leading the charge on a multi-channel marketing campaign to drive event registrations for Climb25 and grow ClimbUK’s national profile. Our mission is to make sure every ambitious founder and investor knows about ClimbUK and the opportunities it offers – especially those businesses and regions that don’t always get the spotlight.
To make that happen, we’re leveraging the full power of our integrated agency. From digital campaigns and content to PR, social, strategy, and design, it’s truly all hands on deck. Our focus is to capture and communicate the festival’s vibrancy, distinctive character, and high-calibre connections – Climb25 is unlike any other corporate-feeling event, where networking is often a feared activity.
This project is a big milestone for The Bigger Boat and a testament to our growing reputation for delivering standout marketing in the North. It’s a bold, exciting brief that plays to our strengths, and we’re equally ambitious about partnering for Climb26 and beyond – including future overseas expansions.
