Welcome aboard Courtney Taylor

Account manager Courtney Taylor joins the crew, bringing with her a background in events and business management. Get to know her better, as she discusses marketing’s ever-evolving landscape, the vibrant hospitality sector, and the best birthday surprise.

My journey into the world of marketing set sail at Leeds Beckett University, where I studied Events and Business Management. It was during those years I found a passion for all things marketing. The dynamic nature of the field, the opportunity for creativity and the ever-evolving landscape had me hooked from day one.

After graduation and the birth of my little girl, I took my first steps into the professional world. My path led me to the vibrant hospitality sector, where I landed my first role as campaigns and activations coordinator for Stonegate Pub Company. Here, I learned the ropes of marketing in the real world. It was such a rewarding experience, and I feel it helped me develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed in the industry.

From there, I embarked on a new journey, venturing into the world of appliances and tech, becoming campaigns coordinator for Buy It Direct. In this capacity, I had the privilege of collaborating closely with clients within the fast-paced tech industry, allowing me to actively manage clients and craft comprehensive marketing proposals for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotions. Transitioning between industries has helped broaden my horizons significantly.

Now, I find myself standing at the threshold of a new adventure with this agency. The transition from in-house roles to an agency is an exciting change, and I'm thrilled to embrace the challenge. The team here has been incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. It's evident that the company culture is second to none, and I'm excited to be a part of it. Speaking of a warm welcome, the team made my birthday extra special this year by calling to inform me that I’d secured the job. It was an unforgettable moment, and it gave me a sneak peek into the kind of camaraderie and support that defines this place.

Now, as I dive into my new role, I can't help but feel that everything has fallen into place perfectly. It's been a journey, but it was worth the wait. I'm super excited to hit the ground running with TBB.

So, here's to new beginnings, creative marketing adventures, and making waves in the industry.
